Millers Cottage is in the middle of a row of Cotswold stone cottages, on a beautiful street in the heart of Chipping Campden. The front door opens directly into the lovely ground floor living area, with the following rooms on the ground floor:
Living/dining room: The beautiful living space has oak beams, exposed Cotswold stone walls and a large inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove. There is a large sofa, comfy armchair, lovely window seat and a beautiful old wooden settle, as well as a wooden dining table with seating for four. There is also a SMART TV with a built in DVD player and a Bluetooth speaker.
Kitchen: Although relatively small, the kitchen is very well laid out and has a lovely outlook into the courtyard garden. The kitchen contains an electric cooker, four ring induction hob, under counter fridge with freezer box, slim line dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Steep stairs lead up from the ground floor to the first floor landing, off which are the following two rooms:
Bedroom 2: A beautiful room, with an original fireplace (now ornamental) and a lovely window seat, which contains either two single beds or a super king size bed;
Bathroom: Contains a walk in shower with rain drop head and shower attachment, toilet and wash basin.
Further steep stairs lead up to the second floor:
Master bedroom: In the lovely eaves of the cottage, this stylish dual aspect room has a woode floor and contains a king size bed, as well as a beautiful double ende slipper bath with shower attachment. There is also an ensuite toilet and wash basin.
A back door leads out from the kitchen to a lovely courtyard garden, which contains a table and four chairs, as well as a charcoal barbecue. There is a shed in the garden, which contains a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Occupancy
The maximum occupancy of the property is four guests, at any point during your stay. Unauthorised over occupancy is a breach of our terms and conditions and may result in the cancellation of your booking and additional charges. Please consult us prior to booking if you wish to discuss the possibility of having more than four guests at the property.
Babes in arms do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions, the occupancy figure may only be exceeded by one baby.
Pets
Regrettably, pets are not accepted.
Bed linen and towels
Bed linen and towels are provided for guests.
Arrival and departure times
Arrival time is after 4pm and departure time is by 10am. Access is via a key safe, therefore it does not matter if you are arriving late at night.

· Master bedroom (top floor): King size bed
· Bedroom 2 (first floor) : Either 2 single beds OR a super king size bed
Bathrooms
· Family bathroom (first floor): Walk-in shower with rain drop head and a shower attachment, toilet and wash basin.
· Master bedroom ensuite: Double ended slipper bath with shower attachment in the bedroom. Ensuite with a toilet and wash basin.
Heating, fuel and logs
Electricity and gas are included in the rental price. An initial basket of logs is provided for the wood burning stove and further log supplies can be purchased locally.
Services provided
The property has free wireless internet access and a Smart TV with DVD player. There is also a Bose speaker which can be connected via Aux or Bluetooth
Parking
On street parking is available opposite or close to the property.
Housekeeping
Where a letting exceeds nine nights, a mid-stay clean, bed linen and towel change will be included in the price. Additional housekeeping services may be available on request.
Child friendly facilities
Guests with young children should note that the property has narrow and steep stairs, and should therefore carefully assess if the property is suitable for them. There is no travel cot or high chair at the cottage, however guests are welcome to bring their own.
Initial consumables
A small quantity of initial consumables is provided for your convenience (eg. tea, coffee, sugar, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, soap, washing powder, toilet rolls, etc), however, you should not expect the quantity of these provisions to be sufficient for the duration of your stay.
Accessibility, health and safety
This is an old, Grade II listed property and has many character features, including narrow and steep stairs, sloping ceilings, multiple floors and steps from the living room to the kitchen, which could pose difficulty to guests with limited mobility, or carrying babies, both in terms of their general movement and their ability to quickly exit the house in the event of an emergency.
The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk.
Smoking
No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property.
Booking and payment
25% deposit paid at the time of booking with remaining 75% paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. If booking is within 8 weeks then the full amount is to be paid.
All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Terms and Conditions.
Security deposits
Security deposits are not required (please note that guests are still liable for any damage or additional cleaning required as a result of their actions).

Travelling by car
Chipping Campden s easily accessed by car, being located within three miles of the A44 and five miles of the A429 (Fosse Way), which are two of the main roads through the North Cotswolds.
Travelling by train
The nearest railway stations to Chipping Campden are Honeybourne (approximately five miles away), or Moreton-in-Marsh (approximately six miles) which have regular, direct services to London Paddington, with a typical journey time of approximately 90-120 minutes.

Chipping Campden is within easy reach of a number of international airports:
